Did you see me last night?

That was me,
flying along majestic skies
seeking the entrance
to the rest of my life.

On my way I saw you
but you did not see me.

I followed the stars
beyond the galaxies
then it was clear
God was waiting for me.

Now I shall rest in his peace.

poem dedicated to loved ones, whose untimely departure from this earth is sorely missed as it was the case when I wrote these simple words to bring consolation to my very dear friend.
