Stumbling over the finer pieces
of a broken heart LOVE knew;
I picked them up to make anew
what was good and true.
Ever elusive love had long since
not sought a viable place in me;
yet LOVE unaware showed me her eyes,
and in them hope emerged quietly.
She reminded me what it looks like
and all the fine complexities
that favors happiness in the long run;
One for her...and one for me.
Her devotion and caring fashion
modeled for perfect loyalty;
LOVE waited for hers as I looked in awe
wondering is there one like her for me.
